The success formula for online team building<\/h2>\n

Just like any live event, every online event is different. Last January, we had the opportunity to organise an online team-building event for a new client. But before we got to that point, we first set out to find the most suitable programme for this purpose and target group.<\/p>\n

A first proposal<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With great care, a first proposal was developed incorporating various activities aimed at team building and fun. Consider a pub quiz or an \u201cI Love Holland\u201d quiz, an escape room, or a game requiring teams to collaborate to answer questions and solve puzzles.<\/p>\n

Give the customer a good overview through demos<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We can well imagine that a mere explanation on paper about a game or quiz is less imaginative. For a live event, we organise an inspection or a tasting, but that's a lot trickier within a virtual event. But of course, we think in terms of solutions! For this client, we therefore organised online demos for their two preferred activities. This gave them a good picture of the functionalities and what such a game or escape room looks like. The choice ultimately fell on the online escape room. A cool activity where the team-building aspect certainly came through!<\/p>\n

Making the choice for a platform<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To organise an online event, various platforms can be used where participants can communicate. Depending on the nature of the event, a fairly simple and well-known platform like Zoom, Teams or Webex can be chosen. If the event is longer running and\/or has more complicated content, a professional, bespoke platform can be set up with its own branding and a high-end feel.<\/p>\n

In this instance, the client preferred to use the Zoom platform. However, they had a less than satisfactory experience with it when organising an online event through another agency. The connection with the host was poor and the relevant organisation was not easily reachable. As a result, this online event did not run smoothly, and they wanted to avoid this at all costs this time. In addition to organising beautiful and unforgettable trips and impactful (online) events, we ensure that our clients are also reassured and have their worries taken care of. In this case, we therefore scheduled two dry runs to go through the programme and check if all the technical components within the programme worked correctly. Naturally, we find this a pleasant way of working, but more importantly, it removed the client's uncertainty!<\/p>\n

The day of the online team-building event<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The event itself was ultimately a great success. Technically, everything went perfectly, thanks in part to all the preparations and the trial runs. The Escape Room was also well-received by all participants, and there was fierce competition for the win; who could be the first to \u2018virtually escape\u2019? Most teams managed to find the solution within the time limit, and the eventual winners received a nice prize by post.<\/p>\n

We received a very nice compliment from the customer:<\/p>\n
