Inspiration for a unique group trip to Malta!<\/h2>\n

Malta is being promoted as an incentive destination, just as it is in Venice,<\/a> It wasn\u2019t immediately what I had in mind. Yet Malta is very surprising and versatile! In early April, Managing Director Anita and I traveled to Malta to prepare a group trip for about 80 people. We know Malta<\/a> Okay, but we also wanted to discover some new locations. In this blog post, I share some of the unique (new) places we encountered and take you through various Maltese group travel options!<\/p>\n

The Westin Dragonara Resort<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

We stayed once again in the (in my opinion) one of the best hotels in Malta, namely the Westin Dragonara Resort. This recently renovated hotel is located on a beautiful bay in St. Julians and opposite the Corinthia St. George Bay Hotel. Which is incidentally also a very good (more touristy) hotel.<\/p>\n

The Westin is suitable for both the more business-oriented guest as well as tourists. Furthermore, it is extremely suitable for somewhat more luxurious incentive trips! The hotel is very spacious and features, among other things, a hip bar, a well-regarded restaurant, and a beautiful outdoor pool and 2 private beaches where it is a pleasure to spend the day on warm days.<\/p>\n

Surprisingly travel program<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For this group, for whom we have been organizing trips for 15 years now, we wanted to put together a very surprising program. Therefore, we had in mind a number of special locations that were a little different from the usual ones. Furthermore, we wanted to arrange the transportation to and from the hotel and the restaurants as much as possible by water or by other means of transport other than by bus. This was to minimize \u201cboring\u201d bus rides as much as possible. For example, we could use vintage cars; a beautiful and tough way of transportation!<\/p>\n

A traditional Gullet also includes the option of sailing to the islands of Gozo and Comino. A delicious lunch can also be served on board. Alternatively, you can cross the sea from the hotel to Valletta by gondola. Just like in Venice \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Varied dining venues in various atmospheres<\/h4>\n

We also selected a number of special locations for the restaurants, such as the Upper Barraka Gardens. Here we can surprise the participants with a top-quality dinner, views of the Three Cities, and the firing of the old cannons (which used to defend the city) accompanied by fireworks. Since this is a somewhat more elegant dining option, we instead choose restaurant \u201cOn the stairs\u201d in Valletta. One of my favorite restaurants in Malta and a location that is often long praised by the participants. You sit at tables on one of the many street stairs that Valletta is rich with. With a larger group, a dinner at this location creates a magical and informal atmosphere.<\/p>\n

For the final evening, we have two locations in mind; both of them have a different atmosphere. Namely, a palace with beautiful gardens or a beautiful beach club! I must say, on both locations I can totally picture the final dinner. The management of the respective client will also join us on the inspection, leaving them the choice of which location they find most suitable.<\/p>\n

Medieval Mdina and Maltese wines!<\/h4>\n

The beautiful former capital Mdina should never be missing from the program, which is why we also visited a number of locations there. On the way to Mdina, we also stopped by the manager of a wine estate. It\u2019s also a beautiful location for organizing an event!<\/p>\n

All in all, it was a useful and interesting inspection trip, and we are curious to see the choices the client will ultimately make.<\/p>\n
