CASE: Successful recruitment journey to Vienna!<\/h2>\n

In the dynamic world of corporate group travel and events, it is essential to organise live moments that are not only goal-oriented but also offer an unforgettable experience. We recently received a commission from an internationally operating company active in the field of accountancy, tax advice, and business advisory, to organise a recruitment trip to Vienna for 30 participants (students). In this case-blog, we will take you through how we developed this request into a fully aligned recruitment trip programme.<\/p>\n

Purpose of recruitment trip to Vienna<\/h3>\n

The client maintains close contact with various universities and colleges and is inviting 30 students to join them on this recruitment trip to Vienna. The aim is to assess the students' capabilities and, following the recruitment trip, make offers to the most suitable individuals. These offers could be in the form of a full-time position or, for example, a working student role. This also means that a mix of different students from the Netherlands will participate in the recruitment trip, and they often won't know each other beforehand.<\/p>\n

The brief was clear: create a programme that highlights the participants' qualities and capabilities, with ample room for informal and enjoyable get-to-know-you activities. Furthermore, sustainability had to play a central role in the programme. Challenge accepted!<\/p>\n

Day 1: Green journey to Vienna and team building<\/h3>\n

The journey began with a sustainable transport choice: the overnight train to Vienna. This option not only offered a lower ecological footprint but also immediately created a unique opportunity for the participants to get to know each other better during the trip in their shared compartments. After the overnight drive of approximately 14 hours, the programme commenced upon arrival in Vienna with a business visit<\/a> at one of our client's local offices. Here, the participants were directly introduced to the organisation's core activities and values. Following this, it was time for some lighthearted fun during a cycling tour through the city! During which the most beautiful spots in Vienna were visited under the guidance of a local guide.<\/p>\n

After checking into the hotel, there was time for some free time before the joint dinner commenced: a shared dining meal. After this, the evening continued with an old-school touch, namely a bowling tournament!<\/p>\n

Day 2: Show them what you've got, cultural riches & dinner with a view<\/h3>\n

The second day began with an intensive business programme from 09:00 to 15:00. The participants worked on a case study specifically designed to test and further develop their skills and capabilities. And just like on day 1, after the business programme, we incorporated an activity where the group got to experience a piece of Vienna's cultural richness: a visit to the Vienna State Opera, followed by an excursion to one of the famous Christmas markets.<\/p>\n

The dinner took place at The LOFT<\/a>, a modern top restaurant renowned for its breathtaking city views. A great success! The group then continued to party at Volksgarten \u2013 an iconic club in Vienna \u2013 providing a lively end to the day.<\/p>\n

Day 3: Presenting what you have, padel tournament, return journey<\/h3>\n

The final day was dedicated to concluding the business programme. The participants presented their findings and solutions for the case study. This was followed by a Padel tennis tournament. A sporty and competitive activity that perfectly suited the organisation. This activity also provided the necessary energy. After the Padel tournament, the trip was concluded in Viennese style with a traditional schnitzel dinner, after which everyone, with a full stomach, could take their seats on the night train home.<\/p>\n

This recruitment trip to Vienna was a perfect example of how business and social elements can come together in a beautiful and sustainable mix within a travel programme. Through careful planning and choosing eco-friendly options, we have not only met our client's requirements and objectives, but also created an unforgettable experience for all participants.<\/p>\n
