Educational trip with the team to Seville<\/h2>\n

In this blog I report on a very lovely trip that we made with our entire team in October. Rob and I, owners of UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel<\/a><\/strong> At goMICE we think it is very important that, alongside working hard, fun (corporate) activities are also undertaken together. We believe it is essential that people feel valued and, furthermore, it is important to further enhance or update our knowledge of various destinations.<\/p>\n

Good cooperation with the team<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Because we also have 3 offices in Rotterdam, Arnhem and Goes and there is a lot of collaboration, it is good to see each other regularly. Throughout the entire year, we organise educational trips at home and abroad to improve that team spirit and knowledge together.<\/p>\n

An educational trip to Seville<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Two weeks ago, it was that time again. A 3-day educational trip to Seville was on the agenda. Everyone was really looking forward to it. Because even though it's work, it is, of course, very enjoyable work.<\/p>\n

Straight after the working day on Friday, everyone headed off to the airport. A site visit was already planned at the airport, because at Schiphol we regularly organise a drinks reception to kick off a group trip. This allows us to observe with our own eyes what the service and hospitality are like at such a venue. Because only when we ourselves experience a venue as excellent will we include that venue as an option for a incentive travel<\/a><\/strong> for a client. After enjoying a bite to eat and a drink and speaking briefly with management, it was soon time to head to the gate.<\/p>\n

Flight with Transavia to Seville<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We were going to fly with Transavia, a supplier with whom we have a very good relationship and who is always willing to go the extra mile for us. Not only for our customers, but also for our own trips. We can often negotiate good deals with them enabling us to airline fares<\/a><\/strong> can be very competitive. A partner we love working with!<\/p>\n

On the plane we enjoyed the service that Transavia has to offer and we were even welcomed over the speakers by the purser. Thus both company names, UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel and goMICE, received a special welcome. A great form of \u2018free publicity\u2019 and that makes you feel very proud for a moment too. And when I looked around me I saw nothing but proud faces all around. Proud that we have built up these companies together with everyone.<\/p>\n

It is also nice to observe that all the other passengers are reacting to that message. People spontaneously started chatting, we were already clearly recognisable by our identical jackets and caps, but now it was very clear: UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel and goMICE were on board!<\/p>\n

Chatting and laughing merrily with each other, we landed right on time at Seville airport and soon we were on the bus to the hotel. Everything went swimmingly and so we were well in time for a late dinner at one of our favourite restaurants.<\/p>\n

A packed weekend in Seville<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The whole weekend was supposed to be dedicated to visiting various (including new) hotels, restaurants and special activities, but certainly also fun. For example, we visited hotels and restaurants and discovered new and fun activities. It was a very busy programme, but extremely educational and of course great fun. We stayed at the NH Hotel Plaza de Armas, a centrally located hotel with very tidy and spacious rooms. We also naturally enjoyed delicious food at various restaurants that we have been working with for years,<\/p>\n

I enjoyed the team, the spirit and expertise. Would you also like to Seville<\/a><\/strong>goMICE knows the restaurant gems and the \u2018hidden hotels\u2019, and works with a partner that offers distinctive activities.<\/p>\n

Back to the Netherlands and back to work!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Late on Sunday evening we flew back from Seville<\/a><\/strong> to Amsterdam. We arrived at Schiphol in the middle of the night and many still had a long journey home ahead of them, meaning they wouldn't get back until late. Only a few hours of sleep awaited before it would already be Monday morning, when everyone had to be back in the office. And just like that, it actually happens! A few pale faces here and there, but everyone is here! Still reminiscing and chatting as we get through the day. What a weekend! On to the next educational trip with the UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel and goMICE team!<\/p>\n
