What do you do when your name is regularly confused with another organisation? For Diewertje Reekers of goMICE Rutger Bremer of Momice provided the inspiration for an engaging conversation about the challenges and opportunities within the MICE sector.
They spoke about the power of live communication as a fully-fledged part of the communication mix and the importance of clearly defining objectives beforehand. They also shared insights on sustainable choices, such as organising events in easily accessible locations, CO2 offsetting and adding social impact to programmes.
In addition, the evolution of events is highlighted: from “band-beer-bitterball-parties” to strategic moments that contribute to behavioural change, knowledge development and ROI. They also discuss trends such as bleisure, where business meetings are supplemented with moments of leisure and relaxation, and the growing focus on well-being and vitality during events.
