Sölden is located in the Ötztal in Tyrol. This ski resort, which includes the villages of Sölden and Hochsölden, consists of approximately 144 km of pistes, mainly blue and red. Both villages are situated above 1,000 metres, which makes it a snow-sure area until the end of April. Should Sölden not offer enough skiing distance, you can easily travel on to the neighbouring areas of Ötz, Längenfeld, Vent, Obergurgl and Hochgurgl.

Anyone who has seen the James Bond film ‘Spectre’ knows that Sölden played an important role in it. We went on secret mission to this spectacular clinic in the mountains; the Ice Q restaurant.
The Ice Q design restaurant is located at the top of the Gaislachkogel (3,048 metres high!) and is an absolute architectural eye-catcher. In this large glass cube, culinary delights are served to a high standard. The glass structure resembles stacked blocks of ice and was designed by Tyrolean architect Johann Obermoser. The basic wooden annexe is a prop left behind by the film crew. Culinary enjoyment with a breath-taking view of the Alps, which in our opinion at goMICE is an absolute must-visit!
Leisure Arena
Looking for a nice place to relax after an adventurous day in the mountains? During your stay in Sölden, you can make free use of the Freizeit Arena in the centre of Sölden. The indoor swimming pool features massage chairs, infrared cabins, steam rooms and, for those who really want to work up a sweat, various saunas and solariums. Fancy a game of tennis, football or basketball with the group instead? You can also head to the Freizeit Arena for this!
Tobogganing as teambuilding
Sliding down the mountain on a sledge is an absolute must during a winter sports incentive! And the same goes for this area! For the ultimate winter experience on two runners, Sölden features a well-prepared, five-kilometre-long natural toboggan run. Followed, of course, by a delicious mulled wine or hot chocolate to give team building a tremendous boost!
Aqua Dome Längenfeld
Unlike the usual winter activities, visiting a thermal bath is pure relaxation. Aqua Dome Längenfeld is situated right in the middle of the mountains, which in itself makes it a special experience. Experience the impressive depths and imposing heights, warm and cold. The use of natural elements such as wood, stone and light makes this thermal bath a unique experience. The heart of the Aqua Dome is formed by a crystal-shaped spa dome. Doze off in the various saunas, such as the hay sauna, loft sauna and ravine sauna.
Stay in Sölden
A good accommodation is an essential part of a goMICE group trip: staying right next to the ski lift is a bullseye for groups who want to leave their cars behind. We therefore regularly choose the Lunaris – Solaris apartments. These apartments are a five-minute walk from the famous Giggijoch gondola. No hauling heavy ski boots and skis on local buses, and after skiing you can linger a while for the après-ski! The Lunaris – Solaris apartments are new, have two or three bedrooms and feature a spacious living room. Plenty of privacy yet the cosiness of being together, ideal for multiple couples or colleagues!
