goMICE employees win awards!
Last Saturday, 8th April, the annual UNIGLOBE congress took place in Soestduinen. The congress was organised at the Hilton Royal Parc. One of the highlights of this annual gathering is the presentation of the Awards.
Because goMICE is part of UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel Naturally, the goMICE team was present that day!
The congress programme
The programme began in the morning with a presentation by Ruud Veltenaar. His vision of the future combined with his presentation was impressive. Ruud believes we are at a turning point in our history. A point that makes you think.
Meet & Greet with suppliers
In the afternoon, we had sessions with Amadeus, the provider of our intelligent business travel software. A supplier market had also been organised. It was very pleasant and effective to be able to quickly catch up with suppliers and contacts.
Venetian Style Party
In the evening, a magnificent Dinner and Awards Show followed, entirely in Venetian Style.
The awards ceremony was held here, and naturally, there was suspense about whether our office would win any prizes. But for us, it turned out to be an even more wonderful evening. We won no fewer than two awards! Our organisation, UNIGLOBE Alliance Travel, won the Service Excellence Award! A fantastic award that our entire team is immensely proud of.

Elsbeth is Manager of Operations at goMICE and has been with us since 2007. Elsbeth is more than just a fixture; she is a vital part of her own team, other teams, the management team, and certainly the board! We admire her drive, commitment, and leadership. In her own way, Elsbeth knows how to create a team, which she leads, while colleagues see her as a pleasant colleague they can rely on.
No surprise then that she very deservedly won the award for Best Agency Manager 2016! A very nice prize for Elsbeth to win!
