An incentive trip to Italy
Last month, goMICE had great pleasure in [organising/hosting] a special and exclusive incentive travel to Italy. Our business associates were going on a company visit there and wanted to show their appreciation to the guests by incorporating a sporting activity. This trip was a surprise for all the guests, and as such, the destination and programme had to remain a secret.
Exclusivity and surprise were a key objective for our relationship. It was goMICE's task to deliver this perfectly. The idea arose to travel to Parma by private jet. Whilst there, we wanted to visit the impressive Ferrari museum. Following this, we thought it would be a fitting addition to take a tour around the Ferrari factory grounds in a panoramic bus. To top it all off, a race lap in a Ferrari F458 on the Modena circuit was planned.
The departure by private jet
On 8th June, the moment had arrived and the group departed Rotterdam for Parma on a Citation X. This aircraft is one of the fastest jets on the market and can carry a maximum of 10 passengers, excluding the flight attendant. Onboard, she took care of the drinks, snacks and pampered the passengers.

The departure was from the KLM Jet Centre at Rotterdam Airport. This is where the checks for private and business flights are handled. After the flag with our client's logo was hoisted on the front of the building, everyone could recognise where they were expected.
Upon arrival, the participants were welcomed and were able to have a coffee in a separate waiting room before departure. Meanwhile, the aircraft was being prepared, the luggage was loaded on board, and thus the plane was able to depart 15 minutes earlier than planned.

The private plane bearing a logo
Here at goMICE, we even had the aircraft emblazoned with our client's company logo, which was a nice added detail! The flight time was only 1 hour and fifteen minutes. On board, everyone was also provided with a light, exclusive lunch.
Arrival in Parma
Upon arrival in Parma, a private driver was ready to take the group to a beautiful, authentic location near Reggio Emilia, where an exclusive lunch was planned. After lunch, the company visit, including dinner, followed, and in the evening, guests were taken to the Ferrari hotel Marinello Village. This hotel has a Ferrari-themed interior, with official Ferrari merchandise.

Quick check-in
goMICE had pre-arranged a fast check-in for us, so everyone could collect their room keys directly without any waiting times or tedious paperwork. Which was incredibly convenient, to say the least. Upon arrival, a welcome drink had been arranged in the hotel's Stop-and-Go bar, which is also entirely decorated in Ferrari style.
After the drinks, everyone went to their rooms. There, a surprise awaited each participant: an original Ferrari cap.
To the Ferrari factory
The following morning, everyone departed early via private transfer towards the Ferrari factory for a visit to the Ferrari museum. After the museum, a tour of the grounds was scheduled. During the tour, interesting background information was shared. Unfortunately, it was not permitted to view the factory from the inside. Ferrari only opens these doors to invited guests of the brand.

Nonetheless, spotting the test drivers running in the cars was a real pleasure to see and hear.
Modena Circuit
After this, it was time to head to the Modena circuit. Ten race cars were ready to allow the group to race around the circuit in two laps. Following a short briefing, the participants, accompanied by an instructor, were able to race around the circuit in a Ferrari F458 themselves. This was a very special experience for everyone! Afterwards, lunch was served at the restaurant at the circuit.

Back to the Netherlands
Around 2:30 PM, the group was collected to return to Parma Airport for the return flight to the Netherlands.

After 2 exciting days, the group looked back on a very enjoyable, active incentive trip to Italy, entirely in the style of Ferrari!
