An inspiring trip to Dubai
One inspirational trip Organising is one of goMICE’s specialisms. Being inspired and learning to look through a different lens is a frequently mentioned goal of our clients. The goal of the inspiration trip is, of course, to achieve a mutual exchange of ideas and to spark conversations among the participants. Challenging them to look at everyday things from a different perspective is what we strive for. We have already succeeded in doing this with many companies.
In collaboration with one of the largest municipalities in the Netherlands and the Chamber of Commerce, we organised an inspiring 4-day trade mission. With a total of 60 participants, we travelled to the city of unlimited possibilities: Dubai.
In Dubai there are many sights to be found that are well worth it. How about the highest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. Or the largest shopping centre in the world, the Dubai Mall. Finding inspiration in the field of retail is abundantly possible here!
With participants from very diverse sectors (such as the oil and gas, pharmaceutical, retail, real estate and healthcare sectors, amongst others), there is something for everyone in Dubai.
Tailored programme
Because of the diversity of the participants, we have divided the participants from the various sectors into groups. After all, each sector group has its own objective for such a trip and it is our speciality to achieve the objective for every participant during the trip.
Everyone is satisfied
That our approach went down well was soon apparent from a participant's reaction. He stated:
“The bespoke programme and the fact that specific arrangements were made within your sector made this trade mission unique”
And that is what goMICE took care of. In advance, we mapped out all the requirements. Where desired, we scheduled appointments with the relevant people and parties.
Doing business, but also seeking relaxation in Dubai
Of course, we also entertained the participants with leisure activities. A visit to the Burj Khalifa was, naturally, on the itinerary. We arranged this visit in VIP style. We were able to skip the queues and were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the security and control systems of the Burj Khalifa. That really left a lasting impression.

It was wonderful to see how much the participants enjoyed everything they experienced. For us, it’s always a challenge to organise a trip like this down to the last detail. Dubai offers a myriad of possibilities for fine dining. And we know the best places to go. Our choice for dinner at Villa Beach (where you can also watch the stunning sunset on Jumeirah beach, overlooking the Burj Al Arab) went down a treat.
Furthermore, is the address An absolute must-visit in Dubai for dinner. From there you can look out over the fantastic fountain show.
