goMICE opens new branch in Arnhem
The demand for Meetings, Incentives, Concepts and Events for clients and employees has increased significantly again since the crisis. Clients are demanding more and more from the experience, while budgets are barely increasing. This requires a great deal of creativity and good cost management. This development is confirmed by the rapid growth of corporate group travel organiser goMICE, which is now also opening an office in Arnhem at Stikkerstraat 10/1.03 in Arnhem.

The reason a third office is being opened by founders Anita van Maanen and Rob Jansen is that demand for MICE has increased sharply now that the economic crisis is over. Director Van Maanen: “We are now opening an office in Arnhem because we are receiving more and more enquiries for corporate group travel, such as incentives, as well as meetings and events, from the east of the Netherlands. These enquiries come mainly from the agricultural sector, transport and logistics, and industry.”
Van Maanen founded the company together with Rob Jansen. Over forty employees work at the branches in Rotterdam, Goes and Arnhem. goMICE is connected to the global network of Uniglobe Travel with branches in more than sixty countries and its headquarters in Canada.
Transgressive
The director wants goMICE to be an event agency that surpasses the industry standard when it comes to professionalism, originality and inventiveness. “Through personal contact with the client, we can fully understand local differences in needs, however small, and respond to them. To achieve that, we need to be close to the client,” explains Van Maanen. That is why goMICE does not work through intermediaries and keeps all purchasing and execution in-house.
