A wonderful incentive trip to Sri Lanka
Our client, who has been working with us for years in the field of incentive travel and Inspirational journeys, wants to go on a trip with the team again this year. After all, they have smashed all their targets once more! For us, a great challenge to be able to organise a wonderful incentive trip. It's going to be an incentive trip to Sri Lanka.
Organising a new and wonderful incentive trip is the objective we have in mind. Alongside a good balance between activities and relaxation, learning about a new culture is also a wish of the client. We eventually ended up choosing Sri Lanka, an original and wonderful destination. After the client became completely enthusiastic about this destination, Nadia from goMICE went on an inspection trip to Sri Lanka.
The Pearl of the Indian Ocean
Sri Lanka is a relatively unknown, yet so wonderful destination. It is not for nothing called the Pearl of the Indian Ocean. In the capital Colombo, a special mix of hustle and bustle and chaos can be observed.

You will find colourful markets full of fruit, beautiful temples and impressive beaches.

Incentive travel to Sri Lanka
Nadia also visited the city of Polonnaruwa, where you can find the site of Sigiriya. She travelled there by train, through the beautiful green countryside.

This place is known for the Lion's Rock. This is a large rock with the ruins of an ancient palace on top. After an initial climb, you reach the former Lion Gate. Nowadays, only the lion's paws are still visible, but this gate is definitely a highlight to see. In about half an hour you reach the summit with a magnificent 360-degree view. If you still have time (and energy) afterwards, the nearby Pidurangala Rock is also recommended.

From here, you have a fantastic view of Lion Rock and the rest of the surrounding area.
Further to the east of Sri Lanka
Further east of the capital, Colombo, Nadia also visited Nuwara Eliya. There it was time to cool down a bit, literally. In this area, the temperature suddenly drops from about 36 degrees to 25 degrees. A visit was paid to the impressive tea factory.

Inspection trip Sri Lanka
Nadia has discovered even more surprising activities which will certainly make the incentive trip to Sri Lanka a success. Following Nadia's experiences, we can at least get to work on drafting a surprising programme, in which activities and relaxation will be well balanced.
