Combination incentive trip Leipzig and Berlin
In this blog you will discover everything about incentive travel to Leipzig and Berlin! In the past I used to go to Berlin and Leipzig a lot. Mainly during the time when, after my studies, I spent 6 years leading world tours with Americans. I would travel around the world with a group for about 3 months, be home for a week, and then set off again. What was then still West and East Germany weren't always on the itinerary of a 3-month world tour, but in those 6 years I still went there at least 10 times or so.
The wall between East and West Berlin
I was always impressed once again by the wall between East and West, and in particular between East and West Berlin. Yes, I am still from the era when there were walls between European countries and cities. Much has changed in the meantime. You can no longer climb onto the wall to look at the other side, and there are no heavily guarded border crossings anymore. And a good thing too.
Incentive travel Leipzig
At the time, I also used to go that way with groups, and goMICE still does. Leipzig, whether or not in combination with Berlin, is a popular incentive destination.

Moreover, we also organise everything there for our clients to attend a congress or convention, or to visit a trade fair. We have already had the privilege of taking many groups to Leipzig and Berlin, and they always return extremely enthusiastic.

Attending a convention, congress or trade fair in Leipzig
For groups wishing to visit a convention, conference or trade fair, we usually arrange the flight tickets, hotel, local transport and sometimes the admission tickets as well. We also always provide these participants with plenty of tips on good restaurants and sights, just in case they have some time for relaxation in between.

Incentive or inspirational trip
For groups on incentive or inspirational trip we will of course arrange everything, such as the flights, the hotel, the restaurants, the transfers and the group activities. goMICE knows the best spots, the most enjoyable activities and also the best and finest restaurants for your group.
Incentive trip to Leipzig
For years, Leipzig was isolated from the West thanks to the Iron Curtain. Following German unification, a new golden age began for the city. Since the reunification of Germany, Leipzig has done a great deal to give the city a more modern look. Many historical buildings have been done up and a great deal has been done for arts and culture. The centre, where much of the old and new come together, has a green appearance, partly thanks to the many parks and wooded areas.

There are excellent shopping opportunities in this German city and the nightlife has plenty to offer. Truly a city to visit in addition to Berlin. In this city you can as it were still feel the history from after WWII.
Top 5 sights in Leipzig
St Thomas Church

This is one of the two largest churches in Leipzig. It was built between 1212 and 1222. St Thomas's Church is world-famous because Bach was the leader and conductor of the boys' choir there.
The old town hall
The magnificent old town hall is one of the finest Renaissance buildings in Germany. Much of the city's history is told here through exhibitions.
Grassi Museum of Ethnography

Almost every culture in the world is highlighted in this museum. As it were, you make a journey around the world. The history goes back to about 140 years ago. A museum that leaves a deep impression.
Clara Zetkin Park / Rose Valley
This largest park in Leipzig covers about 125 hectares. It is a popular resting place for the local population. It offers a break from city life and provides relief during hot summer days.
Augustusplatz
On this largest square on the east side of the centre are a few remarkable buildings. For example, here you will find the Opernhaus, the Gewandhaus where the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra plays, and the university buildings. The glass cylinders, which are called ‘milk bottles’ by the locals, are stairwells to the underground car park.
