Preparations for the incentive trip to Croatia
Currently at goMICE we are preparing a special incentive trip: an incentive trip to Croatia. This can be called special because Croatia is generally seen as less accessible as an incentive destination. This is partly due to the availability of flights to Croatia. Whereas the popular incentive cities have a lot of availability from airlines and many flights take place every day, the availability to Croatia is many times smaller. But if we succeed in finding a favourable flight schedule, Croatia is par excellence a fantastic destination to put together a very diverse and challenging programme. And that is exactly what we are currently busy doing for one of our clients.
Incentive trip to Croatia
The groups that have already been on an incentive trip to Croatia through us can vouch for it: you always return super enthusiastic from this beautiful country. The nature, the beaches, the delicious food (Italian/Croatian), the climate and the friendliness of the locals ensure that Croatia is a country you quickly fall in love with.
For years we have been working with various hotels in various cities in Croatia. At goMICE we select the locations for our Meetings, incentives, concepts and Events always thorough. We visit the location ourselves and check whether our high quality standards are met. We also did this for the locations below. We would be happy to highlight them.
Hotel Monte Mulini
As far as we are concerned, the best hotel in Rovinj, just outside the town. A stunning location for people looking for the luxury of a 5-star hotel. A lively pool, but no disturbance at all and a lovely atmosphere. A super group accommodation for incentive trips, but also very suitable for a private trip (with kids) in the summer.
Restaurant Da Sergio
We almost always include this restaurant in the programme for incentive trips to Croatia. They serve the best pizza in town. Restaurant Da Sergio is a cosy, atmospheric restaurant where you normally have to wait outside for a table because it is so busy. Fortunately, you are allowed to take your drink outside while you wait, which soon makes it fun with the other people waiting. Waiting at this restaurant therefore doesn't really feel like waiting at all, and the wait is always rewarded with deeeelicious pizza! During an incentive trip, we naturally ensure that the group does not have to wait for a table in this charming restaurant.
Things to do in Rovinj
In Rovinj, there are plenty of (sporty) activities possible during the incentive trip. For the incentive trip to Croatia that we are currently organising, we have chosen to hire, among other things, an entire fleet of speedboats (with a captain). We will have lunch (delicious fresh fish) in one of the villages by the water or on one of the small islands.
Furthermore, a bike ride, canyoning and rafting are among the challenging options in Rovinj, but we have included a hot-air balloon flight in the programme for this incentive trip. Guests will be collected early in the morning and will spend an hour admiring the beautiful parks and breathtaking nature that the country has to offer from the air. After landing, guests will be surprised with breakfast right in the middle of this stunning natural scenery. Beautifully laid, long tables will invite the guests, and with a glass of champagne, they will watch the sun rise further. A breathtaking experience to conclude a wonderful incentive trip on the final day.
