Winter incentive travel destination: Dubai highlighted! – part 2

Winter incentive travel destination: Dubai highlighted!

Part 2: Inside my previous blog I will take you along on the very comfortable flight with Emirates and the arrival in innovative Dubai. In this blog, I – Managing Director, Anita van Maanen – will take you along on my new on-site discoveries for awesome (winter) incentive travel programmes! On my list were a number of hotels to visit, such as the high-end Four Seasons Hotel, but then you get what you pay for. Incidentally, around this hotel there are fantastic restaurants, more on that later... Will you join me digitally once again to Dazzling Dubai?

Unique hotels and World Cup football!

Beside it Four Seasons Hotel we visited Jumeirah Al Naseem, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Palm and The Ritz. In addition, we had a small exclusive preview with a visit to the Marsa Al Arab hotel, which is currently under construction. Every single one of them is a gem.

We stayed ourselves in the Dar al Masyaf; still my favourite hotel for all sorts of reasons! This time too we were allowed to stay in one of the lovely villas and we also added a bit of a holiday onto it with the family. Fun to mention is that we were there during precisely one of the World Cup weeks and the Jumeirah chain had consequently set up this football event squared. Everywhere possible there were some 15-metre high and 20-metre wide screens with wonderful lounge chairs and sofas, so that every nationality could follow and cheer on their country. Everything had been thought of around this spot. Stalls with hot dogs, pizza, burgers and popcorn and of course various bars. Great service ensured a wonderful experience there too (at least if they won) ;). Our boys had bought the traditional clothing of Dubai especially for these matches, but of course in ORANGE!

Winter incentive reisbestemming: Dubai uitgelicht!

Anyway, back to the business side of this trip. If you want to go a bit less high-end with a group, that's possible too, you know. For example, the Sofitel, Hilton and it Raffles are then, depending on the programme, excellent choices.

Dubai top restaurants

I have also honoured a number of fantastic restaurants with a visit. When you really want to surprise your participants, choose restaurant COYA located in the Four Seasons Hotel, Sushisamba with a spectacular view high up in the tower on the Palm, or Summersalt, a beach club with a spectacular view of the Burj Al Arab, great service and above all GREAT food. Now next week I am going to Dubai once again to put the finishing touches on the upcoming group trips (what a hardship 😊) and a few more very beautiful hidden gems are on the schedule. This time I am putting restaurant COYA in the spotlight:

Must-visit restaurant: COYA

Only the arrival at the square by the Four Seasons hotel, where COYA where you are, is already spectacular. You feel even more than I have seen in Dubai so far, like you are in a world of luxury, glamour and prestige. And yet it is not as if you feel uncomfortable. That is also the strength of Dubai: everywhere you go you have the feeling that you are in another world, without feeling out of place. But in this square there is nevertheless the superlative degree. I really couldn't believe my eyes. And then you haven't even been into the restaurant...

In my opinion, COYA is more than just a restaurant; it is an immersive experience inspired by vibrant Latin American culture. From the art on the walls to the wonderful beats of COYA Music, you are taken on a multi-sensory journey from the moment you step inside. Your eyes, ears and, of course, your tastebuds will undergo an overwhelming experience. Here, you escape “the ordinary” in the superlative degree.
Discover the most exciting flavours in authentic contemporary cuisine through a boundless offering. Inspired by Peru's original fusion food, naturally light, healthy and colourful dishes from the ceviche counter and open kitchen. Everything to be enjoyed in a setting of hand-carved furniture, Peruvian curios and contemporary art.

In short, I'm visiting COYA once more this month to discuss some details for the groups, but I'm sure my contact won't let me leave without grabbing a bite to eat as well. And I'm already very much looking forward to that!

Must experience restaurant: COYA Dubai

Inside the following parts among other things, I'll take you to a lovely beach club to spend the day at and party at in the evening, and I'll highlight another top-notch restaurant!
