For organising group tours, Meetings, incentive travel, concepts and Events for large (as well as smaller) organisations, we run at goMICE our hand for it. This year, we once again had the pleasure of organising the annual HR meeting for a loyal client (one of the Netherlands' largest recruitment agencies). Paris was on the agenda this year, and you can discover how the meeting went in this blog.
HR meeting in Paris
When organising a group trip for 50 people to beautiful Paris, meticulous advanced planning is an absolute necessity. We leave nothing to chance, and for the HR meeting, the client's wishes and needs were identified well in advance to determine which ones should be placed at the top of the list.
What is the theme of the meeting? Which hotel is the best fit for this and should we perhaps arrange a separate meeting venue? How many participants are attending? Do they have any special requirements? Any special requests? We want to know everything to take as much off our clients' hands as possible. It is in our blood to please our clients and give them unforgettable experiences, and that is of course only possible if we know all the ins and outs in advance.
On the other hand, we are not the only ones asking questions, of course. We always have direct contact with the client, the participants (in this case, employees and managers from branches all over the world) and the other parties involved in the meeting. All parties can direct their questions to the dedicated contact person, because at goMICE we always work with dedicated contact persons. This enables us to liaise quickly and ensures we practically never overlook anything. From extra hotel nights or dietary requirements, to specific questions from a presenter about the room layout or equipment; we take care of it. Often well in advance, but we can also arrange spontaneous ideas that arise during the trip in a flash!
Creativity and problemproblem-solving
When organising MICE events, our creativity and problem-solving skills are also regularly called upon. This was certainly the case for the HR meeting in Paris. Following our initial exploratory meeting, it soon became clear that Hotel Les Jardins du Marais was relatively far from the desired restaurant (La Gare). The bus journey would take over half an hour, which was just a little too far for both the client and us. However, the solution was remarkably simple: book a guided sightseeing tour so that the guests would immediately get a wonderful impression of Paris by Night! This solution went down very well with the client and was ultimately received extremely well by all participants.

From booking hotel stays, transfers and dinners, to arranging meeting rooms, on-site supplies, a location for a group photo or a birthday cake for someone celebrating their birthday; it is all in our hands. We are the link between the client and all other parties. In this way, we take a lot of work off the client's hands and provide complete peace of mind. With the aim of a successful meeting in which everything runs smoothly. Just like the fantastic HR meeting in Paris!
