Part 6: A Round-the-World Trip with Anita | Maui
In my previous blogs, I already introduced you to our ‘round the world’ where we consecutively visited Japan, Hawaii and Vancouver. In this blog, I will tell you more about Hawaii and this time specifically about Maui. Would you like to read my previous blogs about the destinations preceding this one? The largest island of the archipelago: Maui

After all the beauty in Japan and the three islands of Oahu, Kauai and Big Island, we were very curious about Maui! The hotels and resorts had all been fantastic up to now, but with the Four Seasons hotel on the horizon, things couldn't go wrong on Maui. The Four Seasons is, after all, world-class and secretly one of my most favourite hotel chains, at least in the high-end class. Because, of course, goMICE offers matching hotels for all types of trips.
Six nights of enjoyment on Maui
With a six-night stay, we intended to enjoy the hotel too, and not just go out and about. And we did just that.

Our boys loved it at the hotel, partly because they met lots of young people from all over the world there. After two days, it had become a group of about thirty young people who were enjoying the huge waves, the delicious food, and each other's company.

The highlights of Maui
We have, of course, also visited some of Maui's highlights. Below are the highlights of our excursions.
Top van Haleakala, een prachtige vulkaan.

The Road to Hana, a beautiful route to drive on the island.

A mad boat trip to the Molokini crater for snorkelling.

The Molokini crater is a crescent-shaped crater in the ocean where you can see down about 40 metres. The water there is fantastically clear and you can perfectly discover the beautiful underwater world.
Eating in Maui
We also had fantastic food on Maui. There is so much on offer, with the highlight being the Italian restaurant at the resort itself. We also visited a number of other hotels and have expanded our list of restaurants again, so that we can surprise new clients with new highlights.

Just one more stop before we circle the world
Our trip is almost over in Maui, with just one stop left, Vancouver. What a fantastic trip it has been. With one more stop on the horizon, we say goodbye to Hawaii and its very special island chain.

We flew to Vancouver with Canadian Airways for a stop-over. We were staying at the Fairmont Waterfront and arrived early in the morning, so with 1.5 days ahead of us, we were looking forward to our final destination again!
